Here are the most up to date assembly instructions for the Dark Oak Wood Stand. Please review the image and video for instructions:
Components
Base pads (circular)
Wood base
Wood vertical piece
2 - Long (40mm) and 2- short (30mm) screws
Y-Hook
Wingnut / washer
Assembly Instructions:
- Peel off the backing of the base pads, and affix them to the bottom of the base of the wood stand, near the four corners
- With the base on its side, slide the vertical wood piece of the stand into the slot of the base, making sure that the bend in the stand goes forward towards the front.
- Screw in the long (40mm) screws through the bottom of the base into vertical wood piece using the outside holes
- Screw in the short (30mm) screws through the bottom of the base into vertical wood piece using the inside holes
- Go back through the screws in sequence to do final tightening until the vertical piece is flush with the base.
- Put the stand upright
- Put the threaded rod of the Y-Hook through the front of the vertical piece, at the top where the hole is visible
- Put the washer on the threaded rod, then secure in place using the wingnut until it is snug (The Y-Hook should be able to rotate). The washer should be between the wingnut and the wood stand on the threaded rod.
- Go back through the screws in sequence to do final tightening until the vertical piece is flush with the base.
- PLEASE NOTE: NOT for use with nitrocellulose finishes without the Y-Hook first being wrapped in cotton or felt. Any hanging guitar stand not specifically treated for nitro finishes has a high chance of damaging your guitar. We recommend you refer to your instrument's owner’s manual for more information regarding the proper storage of your instrument.
