If you have two Jamstack 2 units you are in for a real treat.

There is some serious fun to be had when you dig into the potential that comes with our unique wireless system.

There are two unique benefits to using the Jamstack 2 multi-speaker setup compared to Bluetooth only systems. 1) Super low latency for instruments, gaming, or movies and 2) you can control the volume of each speaker independently, from your phone.

Stereo Effects and Stereo Backing Tracks

Assuming your units have been left in the default settings, when you plug into one Jamstack 2, the other will simply connect to it automatically. The speaker you plug into will turn into a transmitter and be the master. This means whatever instrument you have plugged in (and phone paired) will be sent out to both units.

 Here's a visual representation of what's happening.

By default, when you connect to something else over SKAA, latency compensation is turned on ensuring both speakers are perfectly in sync, if you wish you can turn this off in the amp settings. This is especially vital for listening to music bu for purely guitar, however, having them out of sync can actually produce a thick and rich sound. Experiment and see what you like!

To enhance the fun of having two speakers you can make one the left speaker, and the other the right speaker. This will enhance your everyday music listening experience as well. There are some great tracks with awesome stereo separation. Try using a preset with stereo delay to create a three-dimensional experience. The Psych Delay preset in the Browse screen is a great example.

Here's what the settings will look like:

These settings are remembered so the next time you turn it on, this setup will all happen automatically. However, make sure that if you're only using one unit, you put it back into stereo mode; otherwise, music will not sound normal.

Stereo with the Wireless Transmitter

If you have a wireless transmitter as well, you can cast out to both units simultaneously. The difference in this case is that instead of one unit being the master, and the other the slave, each unit is independent. This means you can have difference effects in each speaker.

When both are connected and you are within a preset in the preset tab, both units will monitor that same preset.

Here's the visual:

*Note: If your transmitter doesn't immediately bond to your second unit, it's likely because its in green mode (and only looking for the last bonded transmitter). Simply double tap the bond button to put it into amber mode and send it back on the hunt.

To have different effects in each speaker, you can either press knob #3 on one unit to change the preset or navigate in the control app to Hardware Screen > All Settings > Slots and change the preset that way.

*Note: Since each speaker can only be a transmitter or a receiver at any given time, you won't be able to play backing tracks out of both speakers in this setup.
